IAMART
Iamart manufactures and distributes cement and terrazzo tiles, custom concrete surfaces and concrete furniture. The production of cement-based products flourished in Hungary from the end of the 19th century until the middle of the 20th century, and can therefore be found in almost all public buildings and houses of historic city centres, as well as private residences built at that time. The Iamart manufactory is as committed to the preservation of historical heritage and traditional craft values as it is to responding to contemporary architectural and interior design challenges, providing valuable, innovative and sustainable proposals to both the national and regional professional and design-conscious public. The aim of the company is to make these products available again in the 21st century for both Hungarian and international architecture, with special attention to the diverse cultural heritage of the East-Central European region, which defines its identity, through the production and trade of cement and terrazzo tiles dating back several decades.
Iamart seeks open and collaborative partnerships with others to share knowledge, skills, creativity and to shape a positive future.
In addition to production, Iamart provides an opportunity, venue and platform for educational, cultural and artistic events that promote the perspective of collective thinking and creation.
